Ingredients

  • Vegan chocolate
  • Vegetable or coconut oil – creates a smoother consistency when melting chocolate
  • Creamy peanut butter
  • Vegan vanilla protein powder
  • Coconut sugar – any other natural sweetener can also work
  • Vegan colored melting morsels – optional

Protein Peanut Butter Chocolate Hearts

Ingredients

  • 9 oz Vegan chocolate

  • 1 tsp Vegetable or coconut oil

  • 1/2 cup Creamy peanut butter

  • 1/4 cup Vegan vanilla protein powder

  • 1 Tbsp Coconut sugar

Directions

  • First, melt chocolate with a small amount of oil and mix until fully melted. Pour chocolate into the molds just enough to fully cover the bottom. Shake at edges to fully distribute chocolate evenly. Place mold in refrigerator to harden the chocolate.
  • In a medium bowl, combine peanut butter, protein powder and coconut sugar and mix until combined. Roll the dough into a ball and place onto parchment paper, then flatten. Use the bottom of your heart shaped mold to gently crease an outline and cut out hearts. Roll dough and repeat this step until all dough is used.
  • Remove mold from refrigerator and place the peanut butter hearts on top. Pour remaining melted chocolate on top of each heart and gently shake edges to evenly distribute. Place in refrigerator until hardened.
  • Remove chocolate hearts from molds. Decorate with melted morsels if desired. Store leftovers in an airtight container in refrigerator.
